Why not stop by Heidelberg sometime soon?

Heidelberg's main attractions are Heidelberg Castle, the Old Bridge, the old town, and Philosophenweg, the Philosophers' Walk.

You can reach the Königstuhl, the highest point above the castle, via the historic Heidelberg mountain funicular or via the steep Himmelsleiter (a flight of stairs with about 1,200 steps). From here, you can enjoy a magnificent view over the city.

We also recommend visiting Heiliggeistkirche, the Church of the Holy Spirit, a Gothic church made of red sandstone in the heart of the old town, whose tower offers a spectacular view.

Or discover Ruperto Carola, the University of Heidelberg. It is Germany's oldest university and shapes the city's student atmosphere. Be sure to visit university square and the historic university building as well.

There really is a lot to see in Heidelberg.
